If you’ve been following our series on the Top Czech Restaurants In America, you are probably craving some delicious Czech cuisine.
One dish that we really enjoyed on our travels is svickova. We’ve had many versions, the best in our opinion at the Bohemian Cafe just south of downtown Omaha, Nebraska.
Svickova is made with beef tenderloin or beef sirloin tips. The meat is marinated for a day in pickled spices, vinegar, and vegetables. The result is one of the most tender cuts of meat you’ll ever enjoy!
The dish can be served with dumplings or over noodles with caraway seed (our favorite). Either way, svickova is Czech cuisine at its finest!
