This site is administrated by Joe Hartzel. Joe has been an integral part of several Czech cultural and genealogical organizations for many years. He was the founding president of the Czech & Slovak American Genealogy Society of Illinois (CSAGSI) and a consulting contributor to Czech American TV (CATV). He is recognized as one of the leading Czech cultural and genealogy experts in America.
In addition, Joe has personally conducted over two dozen tours to the Czech Republic, both from a general tourism focus as well as genealogical specific excursions. Joe is the author of an upcoming ebook titled, “Czech Geneealogy: Discovering Your Czech Ancestral Roots”, due out in November, 2010.
