Daniela Mahoney, a frequent participant at numerous Czech-American festivals and gatherings across the U.S., is a native of the Czech Republic and learned to decorate traditional Easter eggs from her grandmother. Since relocating to the United States in 1982, Daniela has continued to pursue her passion of creating folk art and is a much sought after teacher of tradtional European style crafts.
Daniela’s website features not only Czech themed gifts but many other region specific handicrafts from around the world. Over the past decade, Daniela has conducted many workshops for children to help teach them the art of creating these heritage crafts for themselves. Many of her products are geared toward children, including a delightful Czech, Slovak, and Moravian costumes coloring book which will introduce your children or grandchildren to these wonderful traditions.
